Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, better known to the world as that “Closet case and his well-manicured beard,” decided to skip out on Katie’s premiere for her latest film, “Mad Money.”

Well, they did arrive for the premiere, made their appearance on the red carpet, and promptly left before the film began.

Sources close to Cruise’s ego (Slightly larger than Luxembourg) claim that conflict of interest may have been the culprit behind Wednesday’s swift exit.
Also up on the block for speculation are the rumors going around about Tom and the new book on him by Andrew Morton entitled, “Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography,” which takes particular aim at Cruise’s Scientological fanaticism.

None of the usual Scientology posse, such as Will Smith, the Beckhams or Leah Remini were on hand for the premiere as well.
