In order for people to pay more attention to her, Chinese actress Bai Ling took it upon herself to let the world know she actually existed, by stealing a whole bunch of nothing from a terminal gift shop at LAX.

Bai Ling was arrested for shoplifting Wednesday afternoon, after she was (surprise, surprise!) caught in the act at Los Angeles International Airport.

Ling, star of The Crow, was caught allegedly stealing $16 worth of goods consisting of two celebrity magazines and a pack of batteries from one of the terminal gift shops.

According to TMZ.com, Ling, who was reportedly “co-operative but crying”, was taken to a nearby police station where she was booked for theft.

She is scheduled to appear in court on March 5.
And in theaters, June 2008!
