The saying in Hollywood goes, “Any publicity is good publicity.”
If you exclude Pee-Wee Herman, that saying is true, and it seems that no one is reaping the benefits of dubious publicity much like Kevin Federline.

According to his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, the custody battle with ex-wife Britney Spears is doing wonders for the wannabe rapper’s fledgling acting career. (and I think by fledgling, he meant gimpy)

So far, Federline’s appeared in episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, One Tree Hill, and WWE Raw, all while sporting his trademark: his smiling while reciting what were previously intended to be serious lines.

His lawyer, Kaplan tells the World Entertainment News Network, “He is evaluating two or three opportunities right now and he’ll decide shortly which one he wants to put his energy into.”

But in pure lawyer fashion, Kaplan was quick to point out that, “Regardless of which job he chooses, it won’t require him to be away from his children on any extensive basis.” Thereby keeping Kevin’s image as a much more fit parent than Britney Spears intact.

Now, that’s just good lawyerin’!
