Canadian records from 1621 published on Ancestry.co.uk reveal that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Madonna have an unlikely family connection. They both are a result of a French carpenter Zacharie Cloutier’s seed, as reported by the Press Association.

According to Simon Harper of Ancestry.co.uk: “The fact that Camilla and Madonna are related, however distantly, highlights the truly unpredictable and entertaining nature of family history research.”

The “unpredictiable” and the “entertaining” part of Harper’s statement is spot on! These two drama queens (one being a “desperately wanna be queen”) have inherited both these traits, besides looks, in extra-large quantity!

Alas, the two apples didn’t fall too far apart!
