The Hollywood rumor blogs are all buzzing about Lindsay Lohan and her sexual preference.

So, is Lindsay Lohan gay or what?

Well, first off, who cares? Besides a guest spot on “Ugly Betty” what has Lindsay done lately? Is she even relevant anymore?

Second, it’s very hip to be gay or bisexual, so Lindsay is probably trying to milk that angle to seem relevant again.

It’s the same idea as her Marilyn Monroesque nude photos – just a desperate attempt to be someone again, if she ever was.

Third, she’s probably bisexual. She’s been caught kissing Samantha Ronson on Diddy’s yacht. Soon after, Lindsay started wearing a ring on her left hand – supposedly a gay engagement ring.

Also, that tramp stamp tattoo of hers is supposedly her girlfriend’s name, supposedly Samantha Ronson again.

This raises the question, who the heck is Samantha Ronson? OK, Mick Ronson’s sister. That doesn’t help.

Of course, Lindsay has had boyfriends, who happen to claim she’s insatiable – usually a sign someone is bisexual. It doubles your dating pool.

She even had her sex photos stolen. That sounds familiar and like another desperate attempt at notoriety.

Plus, drinking and doing drugs makes you do strange things, many you regret in the morning.

Hey, even her mom isn’t sure about which team Lindsay bats for, or if she’s a switch hitter. Maybe this will make Dina Lohan relevant, too! She can hang out with Dick Chaney and discuss their lesbian daughters.

What’s left for Lindsay to do to get media attention – short of killing or dying, of course? There’s not much left.
